Ditaran, when translated, means 'observatory' in Armenian. Ditaran is the largest 360° immersive dome experience newly established in Armenia. They bring a modern form of entertainment and education to tourists and locals alike.
We were invited to help kickstart their brand and design a compelling visual identity. We started by leading a brand strategy workshop with them that helped both sides understand and establish the brand essence, positioning, and overall goals.
We had to figure out the best way to reflect the concept of an immersive space into graphic elements. The idea was expressed by using beams of light and shadows, as well as additional graphic details and color combinations. These lights and shadows are reflected in the logo with a gradient that moves through some of the letters. We designed logos in three languages, with custom-type design work going into the Armenian logo.
